What you’ll do:
- Timeseries analytics (Python, SQL)
- Machine learning (regression, random forest, XG boost, CatBoost, etc.)
- Think creatively to solve difficult problems and overcome/avoid statistical bias
Requirements
- Pursuing undergraduate/graduate degree in Applied Math, Statistics/ML, Physics, Computer Science, or similar
- Proficiency in advanced data research & modeling using Python and/or SQL
- Extensive knowledge and expertise designing statistical inference models and predictive analytics
- Extensive knowledge and experience with high-volume high-dimensional data modeling
- Deep insights into global financial exchange micro-structure and micro-behavior

What you’ll do:
- Options pricing and hedging
- Monte carlo simulations to determine portfolio growth/slippage
- Manage risk

Requirements:
- Undergraduate or other professional degree/certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, w/ a focus on Data Engineering
- Programming concepts including data structures, algorithms, and OO programming
- One or more of the following languages: Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, R
- Experience with SQL databases: usage, design, and scalability
- Experience with databases, ETL processes, and the usage, design, and scalability of CRUD processes
Software @ Quant
What you’ll do:
- Develop APIs
- Collaborate with teams in a fast-paced student environment
- Leverage knowledge of data structures and algorithms to build complex systems
Requirements:
- Highly proficient in C++11 and familiarity with topics like Smart Pointers, CMake, Catch2, Multithreading, and more
- Comfort in multi-thread + multi-core paradigms and hardware/software interaction (FPGA, Networking, timestamping)
- Pragmatic attitude to problem solving and ability to balance engineering complexity with time-to-market
- Big picture thinking: ability to distill core dynamics from code machinery and durable architectural design
